Edelman is a powerhouse in the PR industry. Global and well-trusted, Edelman works with some of the largest brands in the world. I spent a summer interning with the company where I worked on one of their top accounts, Starbucks. In this role, I worked across two separate work streams, Brand and Mission & Coffee (sustainability and social good). This opportunity showed me what it means to work for a global brand in a high stakes, past paced environment. It was also a crash course in corporate communications. I learned how to pitch, build a detailed media list, write a thoughtful press release, capture trends on time for the brand, and more. Plus, I got to drink a lot of coffee. Some of my most notable projects include Neighborhood Grants, the Iced Energy launch, an EV partnership with Mercedes Benz and prepping strategy for the upcoming holiday season.
