Home to some of the most loved stories and authors, Macmillan Publishing is where I’ve been lucky enough to start my professional publishing career. Working on the Tor imprint, I’ve gained understanding across the industry, from publicity to marketing to editorial to everything in-between. In this role, I’ve worked with book sellers, media outlets and influencers to promote our titles. Some tasks include crafting media lists, pitches and press releases as well as curating social media strategy and graphics, setting up giveaways and sweepstakes for our titles as well as sorting through ARC (advanced reader copy) requests.
